In our opinion, sectional garage doors. This is because they’re modern, and take up little space when opening/opened. They also come in a bigger variety of styles, colours, designs and materials compared to roller doors which are only available in different colour ways.

What is the life expectancy of a garage door?

Around 30 years, if well maintained. It will also depend on how often the garage door is used, but on average your garage door should last you around 15-30 years. If you choose an automatic gate opening the life expectancy is shortened by around 5-10 years.
